The American Rapper Takeoff was shot dead at a bowling alley in Texas. He was a member of the rap-trio Migos, alongside Quavo and Offset - both of whom were at the scene of the fatal shooting. Tributes have poured in for the Grammy-nominated star. He was twenty-eight years old. Jonelle Awomoyi has more.

The government has acknowledged that it's yet to deliver on its pledge to give £500 million to youth services in England.
Ministers announced the Youth Investment Fund in 2019 and the money was due to be distributed over 5 years, but so far none of it has been distributed. Jonelle Awomoyi investigates.

DEVASTATING FLOODS IN GERMANY

Jonelle reports on the situation in Germany, at least 19 people had died in western part of the country which had been hit by the worst floods in living memory. Another 70 people are missing with a densely populated north Rhineland-Palatinate region – one of the worst hit. Rivers have burst their banks after recent extreme heavy rain, a number of buildings have collapsed and some residents have had to take refuge on roofs.
